The company ACD China Airshelter Equipment Co. Ltd. has recently been founded. It is a subsidiary of ACD Shelter techniek BV, Holland. It was founded in 1990 with a simple philosophy which still applies today. We want to satisfy the customers’ need for reliable, instantly assembled shelters, giving them a solution that is competitive in every respect.

At this moment ACD is a global supplier of rapid deployable shelters to governmental and disaster relief organisations. Worldwide the rapid deployable “Airshelters” are sold through agents in the fire & rescue and military market. The products ranges from single tents to mobile field hospitals and mass decontamination systems. ACD is one of leading players in of decontamination systems the world. The brands “ACD , Airshelter, Euroshelter and Regis” are well know in this market.

Currently the production takes place in the facilities in Holland and Hungary. A new production will be started in Weihai, China. The sales efforts for China and Asia will take place in Beijing. The production and sales organisation in China are two existing companies that recently have been taken over and will be integrated in the ACD China organisation.

Job description

This is a new created post

The Sales Manager will be responsible for the sales in China. Because he will be also the liason between ACD China and ACD Europe he will take part of the management team.
He will start with a experienced sales team of 5 persons. His first job will be presenting a marketing plan. Then he will set up the dealer network for China.  In the beginning he has to organise presentations and seminars for both dealers and end users. Later on he will lead the sales team and technical service team and assist them in major contracts. The sales team will organize dealer meetings and have good relationship with the dealers.
In close contact with the director of the production he will assist in the production of the full range of ACD products in China.
The goal of the candidate will be having successfully established a dealer network in China. Furthermore a successful dealer network will be established which is ready to work with other new innovative products imported from Europe and USA

Profile:

• Strong analytical mind, flexible, and pro-active
• At least 2 years working experience.
• Experienced with tenders and sales to governmental organisations
• Language fluent English, good understanding of Mandarin,
• Hands on mentality and capable of managing on its own.
• Fully dedicated and eager to accept the challenge

The Managing director will report to the General of Manager of ACD China and prepare monthly reports for the management in Europe.  Salary indication RMB 500.000
