April 16. the 'Rode Kruis Bloesemtocht' took place.

About 33000 people, young and old, men and women marched the 29th edition of this event to raise money for the Dutch Red Cross. The weather was just perfect for walking in between the fruit trees of the 'Betuwe', the fruit basket of the Netherlands. The walkers where surrounded with the blossoms of the trees the march is named after.

ACD Shelter Techniek BV added an Airshelter as relief shelter for the hikers. This Shelter now is in use with the Dutch Red Cross.
